Our 'Girl Dinner' Upcycling Event

Our 'Girl Dinner' Upcycling Event

Our upcycling event with the Fanfare Label community was nothing short of magical. ✨ We gathered together at Amie Wine Studio to embark on a creative journey that would not only showcase everyone's artistic talent but also breathe new life into a piece of their denim. The evening was filled with laughter, friendship, and a shared passion for sustainable fashion. 💖

With brushes in hand and hearts full of inspiration, led by the talented artist Rosa Roberts, we worked our magic to transform that humble piece of denim into a work of art. 👩‍🎨

This painting session served as an exceptional example of how to upcycle your jeans. ♻️👖 It not only showcased our collective creativity but also highlighted the power of collaboration and the boundless possibilities of upcycling.

Here are some very important facts why to upcycle your jeans and keep hold of your items:

1. 85% of our clothes are disposed of into landfill where it can take up to 40 years for them to decompose. If they contain synthetics it's 200 years.

2. On average 14 million tonnes of clothing are trashed each year in the US alone; putting them through a recycling programme would be the equivalent of taking 7.3 million cars and their carbon dioxide off the road every year.

3. Every ton of clothing that gets recycled saves the
emission of 20 tonnes of CO2 .

As we added those final touches, we couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment and pride. This piece of denim, once forgotten, was now reborn, ready for countless more adventures. ☺️

We not only created something beautiful but also made a statement about our commitment to sustainability and eco-conscious living. Our upcycling event with the Fanfare Label community was a true celebration of creativity, friendship, and the positive impact we can make when we come together for a shared cause. ♻️💖
