The Fashion District is a cluster of ambitious businesses, academic institutions and investors in East London. It’s an opportunity: to make London the global capital of fashion technology. To nurture talent. To create new jobs and innovative products. To drive economic and social transformation. To be a legacy to be proud of.
As part of the London Fashion District Festival, we were invited to have our Fanfare Label pieces in Westfield Stratford City’s pop up shop for a whole week. We were in store with many other sustainable fashion brands and designers where we were able to showcase each of our unique pieces that you could buy in store or have made to order.
We also had the privilege to attend the London Fashion District Event Fashion Showcase Event! We were able listen to speakers as well as see a spectacular showcase of fashion designer's pieces on an outdoor catwalk.
We had @estherknight_ speak in multiple events for the London Fashion District including alongside @designedbytom_o @ninavanvolkinburg @been.london and @the.seam.uk on Friday where we talked about redefining fashion's future through circular business models. The discussion explored the opportunities of contemporary circular business models and sustainable innovation defining the future of the fashion industry. They showed different ways that individuals and organisations can get involved with circularity principles and advise on how to learn and thrive within the fashion sustainability sector.
We also had Esther Knight interviewed by Nick Wallis on Channel 5 News during our time at the Westfield Stratford City pop-up shop with the Fashion District Festival.
We talked about our impact on sustainable fashion alongside other fashion brands and bloggers.
It's been an amazing experience to be able to attend and speak at many events as well as have our very own collection in one of the biggest malls across Europe! We're so thankful for the love and support and cannot wait for the many opportunities we will have in the future!
